ROBERTS?Francis D., Sr. of Washington Twp. on June 6, 2007. Aged 64 years. Frank was a simple and straight-forward man who was fiercely devoted to his family. His passion for spending time outdoors and being close to nature was a way of life for Frank. Frank was born in Camden and served his country in the US Army. Prior to retirement in 2005, Frank worked as a maintenance mechanic at the BF Goodrich Plant in Pedricktown for over 25 years. In his younger days, he was an avid stock car racer, spending time at courses throughout the area; but mostly in Flemington and Pleasantville and was still an active and enthusiastic fan. A skilled hunter, Frank would look forward to deer and turkey season, and rarely came home empty handed. Frank was an accomplished Sporting Clay enthusiast and won several awards during various competitions. He was an active member of the Quinton Sportsman Club, M&M Sporting Clay and National Sporting Clay Assoc. He is the beloved husband of 29 years to Rebecca M. nee Carter; devoted father of Carol Klein Joseph, Georgine Urban Mike Napieralski, Francis D., Jr. Colleen Chance, Harry J. Lisa and Grant K. Roberts; dear brother of Georgine Sands; loving grandfather of Christopher Urban, Katie vonMoltke, James Madden, Jonathan vonMoltke, Taylor Urban, Emily Klein, Remington Roberts and Ashley Hanby. Viewing 9-10:45 AM and Funeral Service 11 AM Monday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Sewell. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
