Obituary of Edward J. Wisniewski

WISNIEWSKI?Edward of Washington Township formerly of South Philadelphia, on June 8, 2007. Aged 84 years. Ed was a man who courageously battled life?s infirmities; but always possessed an unwavering devotion to his family and to his Lord. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Ed was a proud US Army veteran of World War Two, where he served as a medic and was decorated with four Bronze Stars for bravery. His commitment to American Bag and Paper Corp. for close to forty years helped him not only to secure a successful living, but also the chance to meet his wife, Julia, who was also employed there. Ed enjoyed cheering on the local sports teams, keeping up with current events and spending time with his family; which included his four dog pals; Arthur, Barney, Maggie and Tracey. He is the beloved husband of 57 years to Julia nee Azzarano; devoted father of Edward, Jr. Eileen, Maria McNabb Terry and Maryann Miller Gary; dear brother of Ann Franzki, Thomas and Philip Wisniewski; Loving grandfather of Kelly, Deanna, Jackie, Lori and Gary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 6:30-9 PM and on Wed. 9:30-10:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Sewell, NJ. Funeral Mass Wed. 11 AM in SS. Peter and Paul RC Church, Washington Twp, where Ed and his family, regularly worship. Interment New St. Mary?s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
