Gomory, Mildred A. nee Palmer, 69, of Oak Valley section of Deptford, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2007 with her family by her side. Millie will be remembered for her love of her children and grandchildren and for having the gift of seeing the good in everyone. She will forever be ?Silly Millie from South Philly? to her family and friends. Born in South Philadelphia, Millie was a member of the Hallahan High School, Class of 1956. After settling on Oak Valley, Millie would spend days volunteering at the Oak Valley School. Millie also served as a coach with the Oak Valley Athletic Association on the basketball and softball teams for many years. After her children were grown, Millie went to work for Shop Rite in West Deptford where she has been a clerk for the past 8 years. Away from her work, Millie enjoyed rooting on all of the local sports teams, especially her beloved Phillies. Solving crossword puzzles, creating wonderful dishes in her kitchen for her family to enjoy or getting lost in a good book is where Millie enjoyed spending her leisure time. Beloved wife of Paul. Loving mother of Gregory Lori Ferretti, Renel Duke Jantorno, Milan Dan Riggins, Bill Martine Gomory and Beth Steve Wooley. Devoted grandmother of Vincent, Gina Marie Ferretti, Alexandria, Abigail and Daniel Riggins and one anticipated grandchild. Dear sister of Shirley Arra. Visitation Monday 10:30 to 11:45 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, where there will be a Lifetime Tribute Service at 12 Noon. Memorial Mass of Resurrection 1 PM in St. Margaret?s R. C. Church, Woodbury Heights.
