Obituary of John F. Gross

GROSS?John F. of National Park on July 4, 2007. Aged 90 years. John was a simple, independent man who was a dedicated, hard worker. He was born and raised in Philadelphia and has lived in National Park for the last 45 years. John served our country proudly during WWII in the US Army. For over 35 years John was a dedicated employee of Penn Central and Conrail working as a brakeman and conductor. He enjoyed membership with the 29th Division Association, Philadelphia for many years. He is the beloved husband of the late Helen nee Smith; devoted father of James; loving grandfather of John and dear father in law of Debra. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tues. 8:30-9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Mass Tues. 10 AM in St. Matthew RC Church, Woodbury.
