Obituary of Warren E. Friel

FRIEL?Warren E., Sr. of Woolwich Twp., NJ, formerly of Northeast Phila., on July 7, 2007. Aged 69 years. Warren?s priorities in life were that of his family and his faith; followed by his passionate pursuit of trolleys. Northeast Philadelphia was where Warren called home for most of his life. He was born, raised, married his childhood sweetheart and raised his family there. He was a 1956 graduate of Northeast Catholic and a 1971 LaSalle University graduate, earning a BA in Business. For thirty years he worked in production planning with SKF Industries in the city and later worked several years at Boeing. Warren and his wife moved to South Pasadena, FL, where they enjoyed retirement together. Warren?s passion for all things related to trolleys started when he was a boy and only grew stronger with time. In conjunction with his knack and love of photography, his family retains the legacy of thousands of shots capturing his love of family and trolley cars. Warren was a member and a visitor of the Kennebunkport Trolley Museum. He is the beloved husband of 50 years to Margaret M. nee Conway; devoted father of Sharon Laarz John, Warren E. , Jr. Kathleen, Francis Ann, Matthew Joanne, Catherine McGough John, Theresa Wittwer Michael and Eileen Friel; dear brother of Gerald, Jr.; loving grandfather of 17.
