My mom sandyan I michele are from the wawa #319 that was in New Sharon that is no longer.Well theres where we met frank when he started comming to our wawa on his way to the gym getting his FRESHhad to be hazelnut coffee an his two king size snickers. He would wear his famous spandex shortsthat his wife would hide from him, especially in the winter, his f-g bag as he called it an tank top.Always truthful in telling you how it was, helpful, always talked about his girls his pride an joys.Frank was like one of the girls at our wawa,so to speak. He never complained, not even about his hand that he had so much problems with.He always kept possitive.Sorry to say that I had not seen him recently to show him my beatiful son,but my husband did tell me that he had seen him some time ago an show him a picture when he was a year old.We will all miss him, there will be no other like frank dempsky. He is very sadly missed an will always be in our familys hearts. We pray for you girls an pray for the stregnth that youll need to get through a difficult time.God Bless!Sincerley,The Stotsenburg's the Smith's an Sotiropoulos's

I'm sorry I can't be there in person.
I have been reflecting these past few days over my memories with Frank. Many happy moments. Sometimes its the simple things that provide the greatest pleasure in reflection. Frank and I were close in locality only a short duration of our lives, but his friendship endures.
I have had many aquantances througout my life, but very few friends. I judge friends as people whose motives and word never need question. Frank fell squarly in that category. Like most men, we did not keep in touch enough. Over the years our hair got a little grayer, our lives busier, and our families larger. But, when we did get together, talk or e-mail it always fealt like a day out of high school. Laughs and jokes like no time had passed..
It was evident to me that Frank valued his family above all else. At are High School reunion he glowed talking about his girls.
One of my favorite songs is an oldie. A balad called Hello Brother by Louis Armstrong. It gets to the point of what it means to be a man and a father. The song rightly points out that all good men really just want to work for their pay, have a loving wife, and the chance to give his kids a better life than he had. I really think that song sums up Frank.
Some of my favorite memories:
Sitting in his banged up old car in the high school parking lot waiting for the bell to ring signaling us to go inside.
Crashed on a couch or in his car listening to his favorite song of the early 80s. Salsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel.
Walks up and down South Street in Philly. Grabbing slices of pizza and Rolling Rock beer.
Pulling together every spare penny we had to rent a room in Wildwood for a week.
Walks round the board walk playing the carnival games.
Sitting in a small apartment he rented from my parents, just talking and eating pizza.
Letters too and from him during my navy days. yes, he actually wrote letters.
Rushing home on my weekends off just to hang out.
I have no wise words of comfort. I can only pass along that Frank was a good man and I will mis him greatly.

Joelle, Haley, Lexi & Meghan,
I am so sorry for your loss. Frank was a good friend to me and my family. I will miss our talks at the end of the driveway venting about our days or laughing at the crazy stuff both sets of kids did or said that day. I do not confide in many people because they tend to "sugar coat" their advice - not Frank. I appreciated his brutal honesty and opinion. I knew if I asked, he'd tell me straightforward. He helped me when my ex-Michael was down and immobile and I was struggling to carry him. Frank picked him up literallyand helped me move him and helped me by doing all sorts of things like shovelling our snow, cutting our lawn or just popping his head next door to make sure Mike's spirits weren't down. I could not repay him for never telling us he was too busy or didn't have the time to help. I hope I can help you and his girls in any way I can as he did for me and my family. We're right next door...just ask. God Bless, Love Nik, Mark, Bubba, Eric & Rachel

Joelle, Haley, Meghan and Lexi,
We are devastated to hear of Frank's passing. Frank was always a pleasure to talk to, and it was refreshing to see a man so devoted to his girls. Andrew especially liked spending some guy time with Frank on Monday nights/Tuesday mornings a few years ago. Caryn was always proud that Frank considered her the ?normal? friend.
Your family's generosity to us will never be forgotten, please know that our family will always be there for any and all you at any time.
With deepest sympathy;
Colleen, Caryn & Andrew Kratz
