Obituary of Catherine M. Cook

COOK?Catherine M. ?Kay? nee McMahon, died peacefully at her home in Summerfield, FL on Thurs., June, 28, 2007 after a long illness with Alzheimer?s Disease. She was 79 years of age. Born in Sewell, Kay was the only sister of eight brothers. She was employed with Ledden?s Nursery before moving to Clarksboro, and she began her career as a keypunch operator with Mobil. Kay was a devoted member of St. Michaels RC Church, Gibbstown. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, traveling and ballroom dancing. Kay is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years; Harry A. Cook; devoted mother of 2 daughters: Mary Ann Smith & her husband Ronnie of Gibbstown and Rose Marie Moody of Port Orange, FL; dear sister of Joseph and Leo McMahon; loving grandmother of Dana, Dawn, Keith and Christopher. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Sun. 6:30-9 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Mass Mon 10 AM in St. Michael RC Church, 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown.
