Elizabeth Cleaver

Obituary of Elizabeth V. Cleaver

Elizabeth V. Cleaver nee Dickinson of Woodbury, NJ on August 17, 2007. Aged 95 years. ?Betty? passed away surrounded by her family. Her devotion to her family and faith were the most important things in Betty?s life. She worked as a bookkeeper for Vallee and Bowe for many years. Giving of her time and love was second nature to Betty; she was a fixture around St. Patrick?s Parish as a member of Catholic Daughters and at Greenbriar Nursing Home as a volunteer. Betty loved to bake. Blueberry muffins, gingerbread men, cream puffs, and apple brown were just a few of the mouthwatering recipes you?d find her creating in her kitchen. She also knitted baby sweaters, hats, booties and afghans to present as treasured gifts. Betty prided herself on her independence, she mowed her own lawn, trimmed her apple tree and painted her house until she was 85. She will be remembered most, though, her love of life and her sense of humor. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Ann William Foster and Patricia the late Charles Sprague. Loving grandmother of Jeanette the late Jack Turner, Charles Kimberly, William, Jennifer, Peter Kimberly, Patricia Thomas and John. Great grandmother of Sarah, Jessica, Jack, Brandi, Miranda, Charles III, William, Patrick, Gabrielle, Tracey, Melissa, Suzanne, Natalie, Daniel, Ethan, John, Stephanie, Alex and Thomas, Jr. Great-great grandmother of Aiden. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11 AM in St.Patrick?s RC Church, Euclid and Cooper St., Woodbury, NJ, where relatives and friends may call 10-10:45 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
