Obituary of Marilyn Fox

Fox, Marilyn nee Brewer, 80, of Turnersville, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on September 9, 2007. Born in Woodbury, Marilyn was raised in Merchantville and graduated from Merchantville High School. For more than 20 years , she worked as a bridal seamstress for Seventh Heaven Bridals in Glendora and for 5 years she worked as the head seamstress for the Playboy Casino in Atlantic City. Away from her work, Marilyn was a member, Past Matron and Past Grand Ruth of the Eastern Star in Wildwood and also a member of the White Shrine. Among her many accomplishments, Marilyn designed the award winning quilt for the Commercial Quilt Crafting Competition with the design of the Best Bed & Breakfast Inns of Cape May in 1996. Marilyn will be remembered for her vivacious & strong willed personality and for her personal vested interest designing or making many of the dresses that the ladies of her family wore to proms, formal dances and weddings. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd J. Fox. Dear mother of Diane Rick Smuzinsky, Gary L. Marianne and Barbara Fox. Loving sister of Donald R. Brewer and the late Gwen Kline. Grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 10. Viewing Thursday 3 to 5 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 5 PM in the Funeral Home.
