Obituary of Paul J. Gasparovic

Gasparovic, Paul J. Sr., of Marlton, NJ, formerly of West Deptford, passed away on September 17, 2007; Aged 92 years. Paul was devoted to his family and will be remembered for his strong will and organized ways. He was a man full of pride, integrity and extremely patriotic; so much so that he retired as a Lt. Commander, serving 27 years with the United States Navy. He was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served with the Pacific Fleet and received decorations for his military service such as the Asiatic Pacific and American Campaign Medals, American Defense Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation and the Purple Heart. Born in Park Hall, MD, Paul was a resident of Marlton for the past 13 years and prior to that was a resident of West Deptford for 34 years. Paul was also a longtime member of the Central Baptist Church in Woodbury. After his retirement from the United States Navy in 1960, Paul went on to work at the NY Shipyard in Gloucester, NAVSEC in Philadelphia and SEACOR in Cherry Hill before finally retiring in 1983. Beloved Husband of the late Bobbie A. nee Gibson; Devoted Father of Paul Gasparovic Jr. Janis, Doris Flynn Pat, Tim Gasparovic Debbie and Vincent Gasparovic Jeanne; Dear Brother of the late Walter Thelma; Loving Grandfather of Paul III Tina, Jennifer Massa Rob, Matthew Michelle, Patrick Flynn Lisa, Timothy Jr. Michele, Gregory Melissa, Joshua, Abigail, Mia and great grandfather of Thomas, Sophia, Anthony and Grady. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Viewing on Friday, 6:30?9PM, at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. Funeral Service Saturday 10 AM at Central Baptist Church, West Center and S. Jackson, St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ..
