Obituary of Mary E. Luketina

Luketina, Mary E. nee Wurm, 76, of West Deptford, peacefully passed away on September 23, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Gloucester City, Mary graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School, Class of 1949 where she played on the Basketball team. Mary later settled in West Deptford where she and her family have resided for the past 52 years. She worked as a file clerk for the Evening Bulletin for a short time before she and her husband started their family. She later volunteered at Underwood Hospital and eventually was employed and retired as the Information Desk Manager. Away from her work, Mary thoroughly enjoyed caring for her family and caring for her grandchildren. While raising her children, Mary was active as a coach for track and bowling at St. Patrick?s School. Mary will be remembered as a sweet loving devoted and ?the nicest person anyone would ever want to know.? Beloved wife of 56 years to Charles. Loving mother of Dennis Eileen, Thomas Luketina and Kathryn Stanley Wileczek. Grandmother of Matthew, Brian, Justin, Samantha, Alison, Michael, Christopher and Zachary. Viewing Thursday morning 8:30 to 10:30 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury. Funeral Mass 11 AM in St. Patrick?s R. C. Church, Cooper Street, Woodbury. Interment New Saint Mary?s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
