Obituary of Kathleen B. Vicente

VICENTE?Kathleen B. nee Bishop of Turnersville on Sept. 24, 2007. Aged 62 years. Kathy was a strong woman who was fiercely devoted to her family. Even though she was diagnosed with cancer over 21 years ago, she never let that hold her back from being an active and ever-present wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy was born in Braddock, PA. Her love for music led her to study it at I.U.P. for 4 years. Kathy and her family settled in Turnersville in 1972. She was a devoted, stay at home mom for most of her life. Many will remember her outgoing, friendly personality as employee of the Washington Twp and manager of Glassboro Pizza Huts and an active member of the Jaycee-etts. Kathy took great pride in her home, enjoyed watching game shows, making ceramics, crocheting and listening to Country Music She is the loving daughter of Marian nee Darnell and the late Rev. Bruce Bishop; beloved wife of the late James P.; devoted mother of Michael Meredith, James Chrissy, David Alyssa Whelpley, Andrew and Marianne David Raroha; dear sister of Ron Bishop Nancy, Andy Bishop Pam and Brian Bishop Susan; loving grandmother of Nicholas, Corinne, Christopher, Alex, Madison, Chelsea, Joseph, Christopher and Casey. Viewing 5-6:45 PM and Lifetime Tribute Service 7 PM Thurs. in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., Cremation and interment of urn will be scheduled by her family in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Latrobe, PA.
