Obituary of Anthony L. Caranfa

Caranfa, Anthony L. Sr. of Bellmawr, peacefully passed away on November 7, 2007. Aged 92 years. Anthony proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the VFW #9563, the Democrat Club & the Zoning Board all of Bellmawr. Anthony worked for Tartan Foods in Camden as a truck driver. He was also a member of the Teamsters, Local 500 in Philadelphia, where he served as a Shop Steward for many years. Anthony enjoyed driving to Naples, FL, owning a Cadillac, and spending time with his family. Anthony will be remembered for his compassion for others, he was very generous donating his time and funds to different charities. He will be sadly missed. Anthony is the beloved husband of the late Amelia. Loving father of Antoinette John Hardy and Anthony L. Margaret Caranfa, Jr. Beloved grandfather of Jacqueline and Corin. Great grandfather of Sean, Brianna & Christian. Viewing Sunday 6:30 - 9:00pm and Monday 9 - 10 am in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 1100 Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ. Funeral Mass Monday 11 am in the Annunucation B.V.M. Church, 601 W. Browning Road., Bellmawr, NJ. Entombment New Saint Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr, NJ.
