Obituary of Rita Mae Schultes

RITA MAE SCHULTES "Life may change us but we start and end with family." Rita Mae Schultes, nee Ballistreri of Wenonah died Wednesday November 7, 2007 in her home surrounded by a lifetime of memories and love. Rita was born in Woodbury to Dominic and Anna Ballistreri. Upon entering Woodbury High School, Rita quickly caught the eye of a National Park boy, Joseph Schultes. They were inseparable from that moment forward. Rita and Joe married the day after Christmas 1950 and were blessed with five children, Lisa Lawton, and her husband, Bill; Linda Petraglia Angelo; Nancy Lingenfelter Mike; Victoria Garrison Matt and Joseph Matthew Schultes Suzanne. Her adoring grandchildren are: William & Robert Lawton; Angelo Daniel Petraglia; Jonathan, Joseph & Jeffrey Lingenfelter,; Tommy, Kelly & Shelby Garrison; Zach, MacKell & Jacob Schultes. Rita is the sister of Rose Waters, Helen McMahon, Gloria Rando, Betty Birk John Ballistreri, Geraldine Stuart and Linda Pichette. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Nugent and a brother, Nick Ballistreri. Rita will forever be remembered as a selfless wife and a devoted mother. Funeral Home 573 Egg Harbor Rd. Washington Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday in the Church of the Incarnation.
