Obituary of Diane E. DeFay

DeFay?Diane E. nee Weber, a 36 year resident of Pitman on Dec. 1, 2007, after a brief illness. Aged 62 years. Diane was a selfless person, who continually gave of herself. Holidays were always special to Diane, not just the more celebrated ones, but even Groundhog Day and Fussnacht Day were observed with fun celebration. Her family would look forward to her unique, handmade gifts wrapped impeccably. Cooking and baking were two of Diane?s passions. She could get lost for hours browsing the isles at Wegmans. Prior to retirement, she worked along side her husband in their family business; Command Enterprises. A devout Christian, Diane worshipped with the congregation, served as Sunday School Teacher and was a long time member of Country Road Bible Church and the Aura United Methodist Church. Beloved wife of the late John H., Sr.; devoted mother of John H., Jr., Jennifer Anne and Amy; dear sister of Sandy Moszkowicz the late Melvyn and Dennis Weber Jean; loving grandmother of John, III, Megan-Joy and Joshua on the way. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wed. 12-1:45 PM and funeral services 2 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford.
