Obituary of Concetta Garbarino

Garbarino, Concetta nee Stirpe, of Mullica Hill, NJ on Dec. 30, 2007. Aged 79 years. Concetta was an upbeat and caring woman who was always concerned with everyone else?s well being. Devoted to her family and enjoying the time spent with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Concetta will be missed for her concerning ways and just being there to listen. She was a wonderful cook, loved to tend to her rose garden and also enjoyed bowling. Born in Philadelphia, Concetta was a former resident of Greenfield Heights for 40 years and a parishioner of St. Margaret?s RC Church in Woodbury Heights. Prior to retiring in 1976, she was employed as a purchasing agent for Defense Personnel Supply Center for 30 years. Concetta is the devoted mother of Lorraine Garbarino-Quinn Charles; dear sister of Jessie D?Alonzo; loving grandmother of Carson and Rory; loving aunt to Michael D?Alonzo Geri, Linda John Hyde, Al Debbie D?Alonzo, Angela Gary Rennie and Jenny D? Alonzo and also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews. Viewing Friday, 6:30- 9:00 PM and Saturday, 9:00?10:00 AM in the McGUINNESS-WASHINGTON TWP. FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Sewell, NJ. Mass of Resurrection Saturday, 11 AM in St. Margaret RC Church, Third Street and Beech Avenue, Woodbury Heights, NJ.
