Obituary of Edward F. Durnan

DURNAN?Edward F., Jr. of Turnersville on Dec. 30, 2007. Aged 73 years. Ed was a great and selfless man. Fiercely devoted to his family and faith, his gentle kindness touched many people throughout his life. Ed was born, raised and lived in South Philadelphia, before moving to Turnersville in 1968. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Ed was employed by Chilton Publishing, Phila., PA for 33 years and was a member of the Philadelphia?s Printers Union. He then worked as a blackjack dealer in Atlantic City and then for Washington Twp. Public Works for 10 years, retiring in 1999. For the past 14 years, Ed lovingly and dutifully cared for his wife, Sarah at home. Ed was a long time member of SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, Turnersville and an active member of the Washington Twp. Senior Center. He is the beloved husband of 39 years to Sarah A. nee Renzi; devoted father of Steven K. Augello Bernadette, Holly A. Rotella Richard and Bryan E. Durnan Christina; loving grandfather of Ashleigh, Dontae, Damon, Giavonna, Niko and Angelo, beloved son of Ethel Fikentscher nee Wallace Edward and the late Edward F., Sr. Viewing 9-10:45 AM and Funeral Services 11 AM Friday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp.
