Obituary of Mathew J. Steier

STEIER, Mathew J. of The NJ Veteran's Memorial Home, Vineland, formerly a resident of Mantua, on Jan. 16, 2008. Aged 86 years. Mat was gentleman who was an impeccable dresser, with an outgoing personality. Mat was a proud US Army-Aircorps Veteran of WWII, where he flew on 50 missions as a nosegunner. Many will remember Mat as an automobile salesman for ACE Ford, Woodbury and being the owner of a Rambler dealership. He is the beloved husband of the late Angelina L. nee Carbone; loving uncle to John and Martin Majarwitz; also survived by dear friend and caregivers: Mary Jane, William, Jr. and the late William Pine, Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing 9 AM and Funeral Mass 10 AM Mon. in the Church of the Incarnation, Main St., Mantua. Interment Woodbury Park, West Deptford.
