Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Larson

Marie Elizabeth nee Peterson Larson of Woodbury Heights, NJ on January 20, 2008. Aged 86 years. Marie was a teacher for over 50 years. She taught in Deptford Township for 33 years at Oak Valley and Pine Acres Elementary schools. Marie was music. She loved to play the piano, violin, viola and organ. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church and Hand Bell Choir, Bethesda United Methodist Hand Bell Choir, Woodbury, Haddonfield and Vineland Symphonies. She also served as a church deacon, playing her beautiful music to other church members confined to their homes. Marie enjoyed cooking, baking, and dining out with her family. Marie will be remembered as a strong, hard-working, and classy woman who was an inspiration to those around her. She has changed our lives and will be deeply missed. Beloved wife of the late Earl James Larson, Jr. Devoted mother of Neil Diane Larson and Beverly Greg Clement.Loving grandmother of Dyan Erin Thomley, Neil Susan Larson, Jennifer Barry Rothberg, Jessica Michael Moore and Julianne Clement Michael Hancock and great grandmother of Nathan & James Rothberg and Zachary Larson.
