Stevenson, David E., Sr. "Big Dave". Of Scotrun, PA and Deptford, NJ, died on January 20, 2008; Aged 59 years. David was a kind hearted, generous and fun loving man who loved to make others feel comfortable and was known for his entertaining ways. David was extremely organized and loved to have everything in its place. Besides David's family and friends, David had two passions: his love for the Marines and his Harley Davidson bikes. David served in the Marines for two years and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War where he received two Purple Hearts. His love for Harley Davidson's stems early on from his teen age years when he got his first bike. He enjoyed many trips to Bike Weeks in Daytona and recently the 100th Birthday of Harley Davidson in Wisconsin. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Born in Philadelphia, David was a resident of the Philadelphia area his whole life and moved to the Poconos in 2005. He was a member of the VFW in Blackwood, NJ and the Burlington Hogs. Devoted Father of David, Jr. and trusted friend of Billy; Loving Companion of Doris M. Clark; Brother of Carol and the late Walter, Jr. Visitation on Friday, 5:30-7:30 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Township, where the Funeral Service will follow at 7:30 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 521 Fellowship Road Suite 110, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. in David's memory .
