Obituary of Walter Leininger

Walter Leininger of Turnersville, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia PA. February 29, 2008. Aged 84 years. Walt was born & raised in the Olney section of Phila. Walt proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was a housepainter, mechanic & more recently, maintenance man for Scotch Lane Apartments. He enjoyed going to the casinos, playing cards such as 500 Rummy, & trying his luck with the lottery. Walt loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren & great granddaughters. Fond memories of Walt cooking Thanksgiving dinner, watching his favorite local sports team and his easy going personality will be sadly missed . Beloved Husband of the late Elsie nee Cervonka Devoted Father of Barbara Mitchell, Diane Tim Kaisinger and William Leininger . Loving grandfather of Nicole Michael Pehek, Kristen Joe Ancone and the late Timothy and great grand Father of Olivia, Madelyn & Ava, who is on the way. Pre-deceased by his siblings, Gertrude, Richard, Marion and Robert. Also survived by many loving & caring nieces & nephews.
