Obituary of Dale L. Martz

Martz, Dale L., of West Deptford, NJ, passed away on March 3 , 2008; Aged 79 years. Dale was a loving and generous man who was always willing to help anybody who needed it. He was strong willed and a very independent man who always looked after everybody else. Dale was never one to take education for granted and continued educating himself long past schooling years. He enjoyed collecting stamps and listening to his large collection of music, but his fondest passion was photography. Dale started his photography in his early years and has quite a collection of cameras dating back to before World War II. Dale will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Born and raised in Brookville, PA, Dale was a resident of West Deptford since 1964. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II serving in Germany. After his military career, Dale worked up the ranks to an Auditor with Bell Telephone Company in Philadelphia, PA through his retirement in the mid 1980's. Beloved Husband of the late Betty L. nee Campbell; Devoted Father of Randy, Steven and Rebecca Martz; Loving grandfather of Stefanie, Jeffrey, Melissa, Annette and great grandfather of Joseph, Austin, Victoria and Adriana. Dale is predeceased by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Viewing on Friday, 10:30—11:45 AM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 302 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ where the Burial Office will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John of God, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville Grove, Nj 08093.
