Obituary of William J. Johnson

JOHNSON—William J. of Runnemede, formerly of the Oak Valley Section of Deptford, on March 10, 2008. Aged 80 years. Bill was a easy going family man who loved the outdoors. He was born in Bridgeton and proudly served our country during WWII in the US Navy. Bill was active with the Woodbury/Paulsboro Moose Lodge for many years. He was a member of the local VFW and American Legion. He is the beloved husband of the late Mae nee Rutter; devoted father of June M. Jarrell Rick, William J., Jr. and Bruce A. Johnson; loving grandfather of Susan, Sharon, Jessie, Marty, Kelly, Richie; great grandfather of Taylor, Hannah, Caitlin, P.J., Jimmy, Sabrina and Madison. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Fri. 6:30-9 PM and Sat. 9-9:45 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury; where funeral services will be held Sat. 10 AM.
