Time and distance may have separated us over the years but I always felt Bob and I were connected. Our connections were first made by a1938 Ford and a 1940 Chevrolet - and their successors. Lorewood Avenue was where we first met and later, Bob taught me useful skills such as how to remove ticks from my skin and how to set off a firecracker so that adults wouldn't know that we did it ( a No.3 can in a gravel pit facing away from the house) . The tick lesson occurred on the south side of Naamans road and the firecracker lesson on the north (before the racetrack). Bob is the last and only person with whom I played golf: 4 holes on the course at which he was a caddy when I was 9 years old. Bob also gave me a tour of my first real college campus: The University of Delaware where he was a BMOC. As the years went on the Fords and Chevvies were traded in, and life's endeavors caused us to diverge from those great early times. Bob's visit a couple of years ago was a renewal that has now been broken again by the inevitable cycle of life. Bob will remain a memorable person in my life. I am sure all will miss him.

Bob served with me on the 1st Presbyterian of Woodbury Heights on Building & Property. He was my Go To guy, who could fix or resolve just about anything I tasked him. I have been blessed to call him friend and life became truly richer having known him. You will be very missed, not seeing that brilliant smile of yours. Rest easy my friend, and dance in heaven with your beloved. I know how much you missed her.
Wendy Wanzung Morrell-Baker.
