Obituary of Dorothy McLaughlin

Dorothy McLaughlin, a current resident of Glassboro, NJ formerly of Sebastian, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019.  She was 93.

Legacy

Dorothy will be remembered most by those who had the privilege to know her, for her kind, beautiful soul.  She cherished her family and all of those who were a part of her life.  Dorothy retired after 20 years as a bank teller.  Throughout her career, she acquired remarkable accounting skills.  After retirement, she and her husband, William, moved to Florida.  Dorothy also was a fan of Elvis.  At her 93rd birthday, she had the pleasure of not 1 but 2 Elvis impersonators to serenade her.  She will be greatly missed. She loved the Phillies, she loved to play cards and she loved to dance.

Family

She is the beloved wife of the late William Joseph McLaughlin for 69 1/2 years; devoted mother of Sally Schulte (Christopher), William McLaughlin (Susan) and Joanne McLaughlin (Craig); cherished grandmother to Andrew, Laurie and Ian; treasured great grandmother to Claudia and Hannah; dear sister to James Welsh, John Welsh, Katherine Bourquin and the late Joseph Welsh and Evelyn Dixon.
