Obituary of Gerard A. Compagnoni

Gerard "Babe" A. Compagnoni, age 95, of Washington Township, on January 20, 2013 Legacy Babe, as most knew him was a hardworking, courageous, and strong man who loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. He worked many years as a mechanic and draftsman for the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard and proudly served the US Navy during WWII. His career continued at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard until his retirement in 1986. Whether it was mowing the lawn, trimming trees, or moving dirt, his spare time was spent in the fresh air, and enjoying family and friends by the pool.
