Obituary of John Leto

John Leto, 71, of Woolwich Township, formerly of Barnsboro, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018.  

Legacy

An easy going, caring guy, John was personable and made friends easily.  He loved and lived life to the fullest; always thinking of the next place they would travel or their next experience to be had.  One of his favorite excursions was his Tuesday trip to Cowtown for his weekly sausage sandwich; he loved his conversations with all of the folks there.  In his spare time, John played bocci ball, pool and loved to visit Harrah's casino and play video poker.  They traveled to other casinos and enjoyed spending time at their condo in Florida.  John especially enjoyed his family time, going to Doo Wop events and cheering for his Philadelphia sport teams. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, John was a resident of Barnsboro for 38 years and Sewell for 2 years prior to moving to Woolwich township.  Before retiring 15 years ago, John was an insurance agent with Monumental Life Insurance Company for 35 years.

Beloved husband of 53 years to  Barbara A. Leto (nee Matthews); devoted father of Stephanie  Leto and the late Dawn Marie Dougherty;  loving grandfather of Amber Marie Schroeder and John Brandon Schroeder; dear brother of Lucy Leto and the late Joseph and Carlo..

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's viewing on Thursday, 1/3/2019, 6:30 - 9:00 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ  08080.  Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, 1/4/2019, 11:00 AM at the Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ.  Entombment at New Saint Mary's Cemetery. Bellmawr, NJ.
