Obituary of Frances C Gilligan

Frances C. Gilligan, of Woodbury, passed away on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023. She was 80 years old at the time. Legacy Known throughout her life as Dolly Quesenberry, she grew up on a farm in Deptford, NJ on Delsea Drive. As a child, she was known for riding her horse Sandy around town. She was also known for her many years of participating at local craft shows throughout South Jersey. Dolly enjoyed going out with her friends from her graduating class from Deptford High School of 1961. She previously worked at Strube Insurance in Deptford, NJ as a receptionist where she met and became friends with many of the people in the area. She was also friends with many of the families in her neighborhood. Dolly was a caring person and would offer help whenever she could. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Family Dolly is the beloved mother of Scott Gilligan who is her only child. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dolly’s visitation on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 after 1 PM in the McGuiness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where her Memorial Ceremony will follow at 3 PM.
