Obituary of John Gregory Schappert

John G. Schappert, of West Deptford, passed away on December 1, 2017. He was 71. Legacy John was a graduate of the University of Missouri and a veteran of the US Navy. Known as "Greg" by his family, and "Schap" by his friends at the Wawa coffee klatch, he enjoyed watching Missouri football and riding his bicycle around West Deptford and Woodbury. Family John is survived by his parents, John H and Catherine (nee Krimm); sisters, Catherine L McKenny and Susan M; his niece, Rachel T Newman (Kelly); great niece Charlotte and great nephew Benjamin; his sons David and Philip. He is also survived by his uncle, Richard Schappert (Jan); his aunt, Rosemarie D'Andrea (Dino) and numerous cousins. Farewell Ceremony Internment and military honors will take place at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 S. Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown, NJ.
