Obituary of William James Rivell

William James Rivell 75, of Oak Valley, NJ, better known to many as "Bill" passed away peacefully in the Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland on Monday, December 4, 2017. Legacy Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA William served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bill loved his family, Philadelphia sports teams especially the Eagles and Phillies, as well as the Mummers. He was an artist that enjoyed old movies, westerns and the Daily News paper "It wasn't a newspaper unless it was the Daily News". Family He was the devoted father of Christine Goldy (Scott), Bill Rivell (Julie), and Annmarie Ruiz (Brian). Cherished grandfather of Nicholas Goldy, Devon Goldy, Cailyn Goldy, John Carlo Ruiz, and Rian Ruiz. Adored son of the late Marie and William Rivell. Dear brother of Marie Law, Kathy Rivell and the late George T. Rivell (Sharon). He will be missed by many friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 9th at the MCGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St. Woodbury, NJ 08096.
