Obituary of Rosemarie DePaul

DePaul, Rosemarie nee Manucci , age 79, passed suddenly on November 1, 2007. Rosemarie was famous among those who knew her as an excellent cook; her meatballs, cheesecake, roasted peppers, sweet ravioli, stuffed artichokes and scrappelles were a few requested dishes. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law and friend. It was Rose who you would call when you just needed an ear to listen; always there with a word of confidence or comfort. Rosemarie had handwriting of an artist, and had a lovely way with ?the written word?. Rosemarie graduated from South Philadelphia High School, performed office work for a few years after graduation, then married and raised her children in Philadelphia until her youngest was 9; the family then relocated to Gloucester County, NJ. She was an avid fan of the TV shows ?CNN News?, ?Dancing with the Stars?, and ?American Idol?. Rosemarie is survived by her husband of 58 years Frank, Sr., her son Frank Jr. Betty DePaul of Cross Keys, son Guy Kathy DePaul of Williamstown, daughter Cookie Jim Shivers of Turnersville, a sister Noreen Manucci of Brigantine and a late brother Frank Manucci. Rosemarie had five grandchildren: Jonathan Maureen, Gregory Taryn DePaul, Jimmy and Stephanie Shivers and Jason DePaul, and two great-grand-daughters, Anna and Grace DePaul, all of whom she cherished. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Monday 11 AM to 12:30 PM in the McGUINNESS-WASHINGTON TWP. FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp.
