Obituary of Frank Robert Pastor

Pastor, Frank Robert, of Wenonah, NJ, passed away on November 17, 2007. Aged 82 years. Frank was a simple and hardworking man and will be remembered for his sincere and understanding ways. He loved reading especially war stories, stamp collecting and listening to classical music, jazz and Frank Sinatra. Frank was a longtime parishioner at St. Margaret?s Parish in Woodbury Heights. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He also enjoyed spending time and playing with his grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Frank was a resident of Oak Valley since 1956. Frank was one of the orisginal founders of the Oak Valley Athletic Association which just celebrated its 50th season. Frank was also one of the first coaches for baseball. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II where he served from 1943?1946. He was a member of the United Dairy Workers Local Union in Philadelphia, PA and the American Legion Post in Woodbury. Beloved husband of 58 years to Dorothy K. nee Kurtz; Devoted father of Nancy Michael Pastor, Robert F. and Thomas J. Pastor, Jennifer Joe Polidoro and the late Judith Ann; Loving grandfather of 6 and one on the way; Dear Brother of Albert Therese Pastor and Anne Thomas Salvatore. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, 6:30?9 PM and Wednesday, 8:30?9:15 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret?s RC Church, Third and Beech Street Woodbury Heights, NJ. Interment New St. Mary?s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret?s Church St. Vincent de Paul Society, 334 Beech Avenue, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097.
