Obituary of George H. Serfass

Serfass, George ?Bud? H, of Woodbury, NJ, passed away surrounded by his loving ?three girls? on November 18, 2007. Aged 87 years. Bud was a gentle and quiet man whose greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his two great grandsons, Dante and Antonio. In his spare time he enjoyed sailing and using his skills as a talented wood craftsman to restore many different types of boats. Bud will be remembered as a sweetheart and an idol for his family and will be sadly missed. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bud was a United States Army Veteran of World War II serving from 1942?1945. After serving in the Army Air Corp. he was employed by Mobil Oil Company in Paulsboro for 39 years and retiring in 1985. Beloved husband of 62 years to Nancy nee Snoke; Devoted father of Terrie Gus Matteo Freund and James Joan Serfass; Dear brother of the late Edith Dornberger; Loving Grandfather of James A. Serfass and Lisa Carmen J. Mininno and great grandfather of Dante and Antonio. Relatives and friends are invited on Friday, 1 PM to the Graveside Service at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ where the interment will follow.
