Obituary of Rudolph Cioffi

Rudolph Cioffi, 73, of Pitman, NJ died on November 27, 2007 in the Underwood-Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. Rudy Cioffi was a generous, sincere, giving gentle man. He was the President and co-founder with Charles Berenato of Berenato and Cioffi, Inc. ? a contracting firm specializing in highway construction. Some of their larger projects included building Route 55; the Berlin Circle and Olga?s Circle. In the 1970s, Rudy owned Rudolpho?s Restaurant in Hammonton. In 1979, Rudy took a trip to Italy. While in Rome, he met Janice Holden. Five years later they married and they enjoyed one another for 23 years. Rudy was a member of the St. Anthony?s Society of Glassboro. Rudy enjoyed playing cards, horse racing and visiting the casinos. He especially enjoyed beating the brains out of the casinos. Devoted Husband of Janice M. nee Holden. Stepfather of Dr. James Tighe and Peg Tighe. Grandfather of Karlie and Janna Tighe. Brother of Ralph, Frank and William Cioffi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6:30-9:00 PM and Monday from 10:30 AM until 11:15 AM in the McGuinness-Washington Twp. Funeral Home 573 Egg Harbor Rd.
