Obituary of Eugene F. Murray

MURRAY?Eugene F., Sr., of Verga, suddenly on Dec. 7, 2007. Aged 71 years. A legacy of gentleness, caring and love are the gifts that Gene leaves behind for his beloved family to cherish. Gene was a man who respected and loved life. The Fishtown section of Philadelphia was were he was born and raised, but called Verga home for the last 37 years. Prior to retirement in 1997, Gene worked as a machinist for the Budd Company, Philadelphia for over 32 years. He served as committeeman and was a member of the U.A.W. #816. His affection for animals was ever present. Gene loved to fish, enjoyed trips to Niagra Falls and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 49 years to Rose nee Osborn; devoted father of Eugene, Jr. Kimberly and John Murray and Rosemarie Tevis Guy; dear brother of Dorothy Miller and Patricia Salinitis; loving grandfather of Guy, Jr., Ashley, Lauren and Kristen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Mon. 6:30-9 PM and Tues. 9-9:45 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St, Woodbury. Funeral Services Tues. 10 AM Tues. in the funeral home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
