Obituary of Ida-May Mealey

MEALEY, Ida-May. nee Ruddick, 91, of Mullica Hill, on January 5, 2008. Ida-May was born in Cincinnati, OH, raised in Sewell and lived in Woodbury for over 60 years before moving to Mullica Hill. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Remembered as an avid reader, she enjoyed music, boating on the Chesapeake and visiting Florida in the springtime. She found joy in defying her age. Beloved wife of the late Ben Mealey, devoted mother of Nancy Mealey and Kathleen Turner Joseph, dear sister of Frieda Dieterich, loving grandmother of Ellen Zettelmoyer and Karen Fosbenner, caring great grandmother of Alex, Rachael and Eric, and loving aunt of Carole Smith. Memorial graveside services will take place Monday, Jan 14, 2008 at 10AM in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, 500 Delsea Drive, Sewell, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John of God, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville Grove, NJ 08093.
