Obituary of Rosina Battilana

Battilana, Rosina "Rose" nee Saia, of West Deptford, NJ , passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 23, 2008; aged 84 years. Rose was a strong willed woman who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed going to the casinos, taking shopping trips and loved to spend time in the kitchen cooking for her family. She will be remembered for her wonderful deserts and will be sadly missed. Born in Camden, NJ, Rose was a resident of West Deptford for 58 years. She was a long time parishioner of St. Patrick's RC Church and also worked in the Cafeteria of the school for over 25 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the "Chit Chat Club." Beloved Wife of the late, Aldo; Devoted mother of Carol Donahue and Aldo, Jr. Carol; Dear sister of Joseph; Loving Grandmother of Lisa, Robert, Aldo III, Nick, Ashley and great grandmother of 8. Viewing on Sunday 6:30—9:00 PM and Monday, 8:30- 9:15 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street Woodbury, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's RC Church, Euclid and Cooper Street, Woodbury, NJ.
