Obituary of Joel H. Barnes

Joel H. Barnes, of Woodbury, NJ, on February 2, 2008, in the presence of his loving family. Remembered fondly for his surly nature, Joel enjoyed 84 fruitful years, 65 of which he spent with his beloved wife Thelma nee Adkins. With honor and pride he served his country in the US Army during WWII. As a salesman for the Rode Food Service company for nearly 40 years Joel provided a comfortable life for his close knit family. Known to enjoy woodworking, he was quite the craftsman as well as an avid gardener, always proud of his Jersey Tomatoes. His daughter Cheryl D'Andrea, brother John Barnes, and grandchildren Jennifer, Bryan and Carina extend an invitation to commemorate his life at the Graveside Service Thursday 11AM at Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford, NJ.
