Obituary of James W. Plumley

Plumley, James "Jimbo" W. of Turnersville, NJ, died on February 9, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Aged 73 years. James was a doting grandfather to his seven grandchildren who gave him a tremendous sense of purpose. He also enjoyed reading and listening to jazz music. James will be remembered for his charming, funny ways and will be sadly missed. Born at home in Philadelphia, PA, James was a resident of Turnersville for 40 years. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran serving during the Korean War. Beloved Husband of 49 years to Margaret "Peggy" nee Fillius; Devoted Father of Donna Brian Broomell, JoAnne Bruce Kramer and James Jr. Sharon; Devoted Grandfather of Nicholas, Christian, Alexandra, James III, Kyle, Jared and Dylan; Dear Brother of Patricia McAllister, Michael Scarry and the late George Plumley, Jr. There will be a time of visitation from 10 to 11 am followed by a Celebration of James' life on Saturday, 2/16/08 at 11 AM at Hope United Methodist Church, 700 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043 . Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, PO Box 820, Brown Mills, NJ 08015.
