Obituary of Ellamae P. Santarcangelo

Santarcangelo, Ellamae P. nee Hughes "Ella", 76, of Washington Twp., peacefully passed away on February 14, 2008. Ella will be fondly remembered for her feisty ways and full of life personality. Everyone who knew and loved her will deeply miss her. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Ella later relocated to the Washington Twp. community where she has resided for more than 40 years. She worked as the Secretary for the Township Planning Board for over 25 years until her retirement in 1994. Away from her work, Ella enjoyed following politics and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Beloved wife of 57 years to Joseph R. Santarcangelo. Loving mother of Valerie Victor Tedesco, Joyce Frank Lorge, Lorraine Rick Lord, Ellen Santarcangelo and her husband Mike Galloway and the late Kenneth Santarcangelo. Dear sister of Kay Schiano. Grandmother of 7. Great grandmother of 6. Viewing Monday morning after 8:30 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. Funeral mass 11 AM in the Church of the Holy Family, Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Cremation and interment will be private.
