Obituary of Elizabeth A. Carter

Elizabeth Ann Carter nee Hammond of Williamstown, NJ on February 17, 2008. Aged 70 years. Beloved wife & companion of Edward A. Carter, Sr. Dear mother of Edward A. Carter, Jr. & Sandra, Elizabeth A. McGrail & Joseph, Colleen K. Reilly & Robert, Maria E. Stralkowski & Michael and Susan Nichole Carter Loving Grammy of Robbie, Erin, Raven, Brendan, Jaine, Carrie, Aidan, Emma, Eddie III and Karalee. Caring sister of David Jenrette, Joseph Hammond, Carol Tarves, Linda Hammond and Maryjane McNeill. Pre-deceased by her parents Joseph A. & Elizabeth M. Hammond of Runnemede. Betty Ann, as she was known to friends, was an employee with Penn Mutual Insurance in Philadelphia until she married & began raising her family. After her children were grown, she returned to work as a shift supervisor at a local pharmacy, where she was employed for 16 years. Betty Ann was a huge Elvis fan who enjoyed knitting & crocheting, pinochle, bingo, computer games, dancing, the Phillies, family gatherings, her home at the shore & Sunday dinners with her family. She was a faithful friend and the best wife & mother anyone could ever ask for. She resided at the Southern Cross Airport in Williamstown. Betty Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ja cie kocham I love you.
