Obituary of Jean Morse

MORSE, Jean nee Brown of Robinson, PA formerly of West Deptford, suddenly on February 25, 2008. Aged 78 years. Born in Brooklawn, Jean called West Deptford home for over forty years before retiring to Western Pennsylvania. She was a familiar face at Ciko's Diner, Woodbury later to become the Colonial Diner, where she started as a waitress in the mid 1960's and eventually became head cashier / hostess until her retirement. Jean loved the shore; and with her family in tow with their travel trailer enjoyed vacationing in Sea Isle, Wildwood and in the Chesapeake area. She was a former volunteer with Indiana County Hospital, PA, was a member of the VFW Post #9310 Ladies Auxiliary and the Robinson Quilting Club. She would enjoy a good game of Pinochle and used to bowl regularly on a league. She is the beloved wife of 57 years to Charles P., devoted mother of C. David Kathy, J. Thomas Beth, Stephen Yvonne and Tricia Gary Steinhauer; loving grandmother of 7. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing 9-10:45 AM and funeral services 11 AM Saturday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury.
