Obituary of Rita Marie Levine

Rita M. Levine, nee Gulick of Sicklerville, on Feb. 26, 2008. Aged 80 years. A loving woman who made friends quickly, Rita will be remembered for her smile and love for all of God's creatures. Rita was born in Mahoney City, PA, lived in Philadelphia for many years before making Sicklerville her home. Prior to retirement, Rita worked as a program manager for the US Naval Shipyard, Philadelphia for 33 years; where she earned the respect and friendship of many of her coworkers. You would never hear Rita complain about anything; but would be known to roll her eyes and sigh when Rob would start telling his Union stories. She was a great cook especially when it came to making Galumpkis, enjoyed time with her animals and feeding the wild ones and spending time with friends. She is the beloved wife of 31 years to Robert "Rob" S. Director, Member Benefits, APWU, So. Jersey Local; dear sister of Gerry Whipple and the late Jackie Gulick; loving aunt to Earl and Jeffrey Whipple; sadly missed by her cats, Mikey and Sammy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing 9-10:45 AM and funeral service 11 AM on Sat. in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Sewell. Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
