Obituary of Ruby B. Pantis

PANTIS, Ruby "Sue" nee Knight of Barnsboro, NJ on March 31, 2008. Aged 85 years. "Sweet" Sue will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was born in Helena, Texas and in later years earned a doctorate in Nursing. Sue joined the Army as a registered nurse in 1944. While serving our country she met Harold, the man who became her husband and they spent the next 58 wonderful years together. Sue later began the Gloucester County School of Nursing in Sewell. When not caring for her family or patients, she would be found on the ski slopes or in her garden. Known for her salads and rolls, family would always gather at the Pantis home for holidays and dessert. Beloved wife of the late Harold Pantis; Devoted sister of Lillian, Anna, Nellie Ruth, Dorothy Joe and Kenny. Loving sister-in-law of Joann Mullin. Dear aunt of Robert Mullin, Kevin Mullin, Kathy Bank, Linda Hassel, Barbie Pickens, Pat Shirley, Gerald Alstadter and 8 great nieces and nephews. Viewing Friday 10 -10:45AM. Funeral Mass Friday 11 AM at Church of the Incarnation, Main St., Mantua, NJ. Interment Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery, Mullica Hill, NJ.
