Obituary of Virginia Aydt

Virginia R. Aydt (nee Vivian), 95, of Pitman, NJ, passed away on December 27, 2017 surrounded by those who loved her. Legacy A lovely, caring and detail oriented lady, Ginny was devoted to her family and her faith. She had a passion for music and just needed to hear a song once before she could play it on the piano. Ginny loved to whistle and her kids knew to listen around dinner time for their special tune whistled by their parents, to call them in. When her beloved husband Joe passed away, Ginny started to compose music. Her family remembers her wonderful baking, especially homemade cinnamon rolls, apple pies and the peach canning and jellies that they did together. Ginny was artistic in her sewing, artwork and poetry. Formerly a resident of Collingswood, NJ, Ginny was a graduate of Collingswood High School in 1940. Prior to retiring in 1984, Ginny was employed by the Gloucester County Probation Department for 23 years. Family Beloved wife of the late, William J. Aydt; Loving mother of Susan B. (Wayne) Hartman and Robin J. (Mike) Lanigan; devoted grandmother of Mark Hartman, Tiffany (Nishant) Chadha and great grandmother of Nicole Hartman and Neeve Chadha. Ginny is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
