Obituary of Mr.. Gerald J. Criss

Gerald Joseph Criss, Sr., 70, of Hubert, NC passed away on December 31, 2017. Legacy A gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor, Jerry didn't take life too seriously and always tried to keep his loved ones laughing. They will forever remember his "Jerryisms" and his funny play on words. When Jerry was younger, he played in a band "Friends and Relations" where he played sax; music was in his blood. He also marched with the Broomall String Band for years. As he got older, Jerry's loved turned to the open road and rides on his Harley. Born in Philadelphia, NJ, Jerry moved to North Carolina almost 10 years ago. Prior to retiring, Jerry was employed by RE Marshall Electric in Lindenwold for over 36 years. He was also a proud Navy Veteran serving from 1966 - 1972. Family Devoted father of Jennifer (Howard) Dubrow and Gerald J. (Kevin) Criss, Jr.; loving grandfather of Cameron and Daniel; dear brother of Francis "Ed" Criss and Deborah Buffington. Jerry is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Ramona Criss and siblings, Trudy Sigall and Andrew Criss, Jr. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to Jerry's viewing on Saturday, 1/13/2018, 12 - 1 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor, Sewell, NJ. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place privately.
