Obituary of Rev. Glenn Doughty

Rev. A. Glenn Doughty, 75, of West Deptford, New Jersey, went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2018. 

Legacy:

Glenn was born on August 30, 1942 and raised in Linwood, New Jersey. He attended church from the time he was born and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at Tri-State Bible Camp. Glenn later dedicated his life to the Lord for ministry at Tri-State Bible Camp. 

Upon graduating high school, Glenn went on to Philadelphia College of Bible and Faith Theological Seminary, where he received a Bachelor of Science of the Bible and Master of Divinity degree, respectively. Upon starting his ministry, he became a member of the Fellowship of Fundamental Bible Churches. 

Glenn and Carole were married June 17, 1967 in Youngwood, PA and later moved to Westville to raise their family while Glenn served the Lord as pastor of the Bible Church of Westville. 

Upon retiring from his ministry of over 43 years, Glenn assumed the role of chaplain for the ministry at PA Dutch Campground in Manheim, PA for four years. He and Carole enjoyed their retirement traveling and spending summers at the campground with their children and grandchildren. 

Family:

Beloved husband of Carole (nee True); devoted father of Matthew (Susan) Doughty and Lynn (John) Duncan; loving grandfather of Andrew, Amy, Ashley, Tori, Greyson, Piper, Travis and the late Cory.

Farewell Tribute:

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Glenn's viewing on Tuesday, 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street Woodbury, NJ, where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment Eglington Cemetery, NJ.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Salvation  Army or Our Lady of Lourdes Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit.
