Obituary of Agnes M Sheldon

Sheldon, Agnes M. (nee Florig) long time resident of National Park passed away on May 11, 2018 at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late Harry, loving mother of Harry (Janice) and Nancy Mathews (John), devoted MomMom to Harry Sheldon III (Margaret), Brian Sheldon (Kris), Jeff Mathews (Sarah), Jamie Sheridan (Joseph), and proud GiGi to her 10 great-grandchildren.  Best friend to her two sisters Theresa Helmuth (David) and Elizabeth Hettmannsperger (Robert), also loved by her many nieces and nephews.  Agnes was predeceased by her three brothers; Charles, Thomas and Stephen Florig.

Agnes was a former employee of Bell Telephone and Sears & Roebuck, as well as a long-time homemaker.  She was a member for 35 years and former president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6884.  Agnes was also a Senior Citizen Volunteer for Gloucester County Division of Senior Citizens Nutrition Program.

Agnes enjoyed traveling, visiting the Jersey Shore and watching the Philadelphia Phillies.  She especially enjoyed the Philadelphia String Bands.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, May 16 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ.  Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
