Joey, you were not only my dad’s best friend for almost 60 years, you were my Uncle. You were always part of our family! I loved listening to all the stories of the crazy things you & my dad did together. You were at every event in my life & in the lives of my children. I always considered you to be my Gidfather, because you & my dad always said you should have been!! You were ‘Uncle Joe’ to my kids from the day they both were born. i will miss hearing you call me ‘Click-Click’ because I loved to take pictures. I will miss hearing you call my mom ‘Lucky’. I will miss you being over every Sunday to watch football with my dad, my brother, my husband & my son. I still cannot believe you are gone. I pray that Tara, Frankie, & their families will find the strength they need to get through this. I pray that my parents will be strong. I pray for my dad, because I honestly don’t know what he’s going to do without you. The only comfort I have right now is knowing that you have been reunited with Sandy. I will miss you, Uncle Joe. RIP forever!

Joe was called my friend by everyone but he was not only my friend he was my brother . I cannot at this time imagine my life without having him here. We have been together thru many good & bad times in our lives. WE grew up together as young boys on the streets of South Philly. We matured together as young men and found the women that we loved & married. We shared the joy of our children being born and each occasion in their lives. WE endured the passing of his beloved Sandy together and of my wife fighting cancer not once but twice. We were always there for each other. He had a tough exterior but he was a caring loving man whom I loved & respected. There are too many memories to count and I will cherish every one of them till the day I hopefully meet him again in the hereafter.
Good by my brother. I know you are with Sandy now and forever.
