Obituary of Theresa J. Van Leer

Theresa J. Van Leer, (née Murphy) age 81, of Washington Township, NJ peacefully entered Heaven on March 28, 2018.

Legacy

Theresa is remembered a strong willed and loving woman who dedicated her life to family and devoted her faith to the Lord. She enjoyed the comforts of home, especially the holidays, and was a skilled chef and baker of pies, cakes and desserts. She was also talented at crocheting afghans, completing puzzles and loved to shop for the best deals around town. She and Edwin enjoyed camping and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and their beloved shih tzu Molly.

Beloved wife of 61 years to Edwin M. Van Leer; Devoted mother of Darlene T. Schulke (Michael) and Steven E. Van Leer (Reneé); Cherished nanny of Brandon (Amanda), Christian (Paula), Taylor (Julia), Shane (Briana), Steven, Randy, Neil, and Kevin; Precious great nanny of Lily, Haidyn, Faith, and Waylon; Adored daughter of the late Irene (née Murtha) and Harry Bolt; Dear sister to the late William ‘Bucky’ Murphy, Joseph Murtha, and Harry Bolt; Treasured aunt to many.
